With Easter just around the corner, seems like now would be a great time to introduce you to a phenomenon that we're newly aware of: the scary Easter bunny photo.
It's kind of like how clowns have gone from funny and fun to creepy and creep. Easter bunnies are supposed to be adorable, fuzzy, and brimming with treats for kids, right? Well, back in the day, when people had to make their own costumes, sometimes it didn't go quite right.
The result? Creepy Easter bunny photos galore, complete with screaming children and… well, let's just look at some of them, shall we?

What on Earth…?
This bunny's wonky-ass teeth, along with his darkly rimmed eyes, make him a perfect addition to a scary easter bunny compilation. I like the kid's expression: Seriously?
2. Oh nah you didn't
Someone should talk to the manager about this scary Easter bunny. First of all, those whiskers are whack. Second… why is an Easter bunny wearing a weird version of a dress suit jacket? These dudes tried but it just didn't work out. The kid doesn't really care though. I respect that.
3. Dead eyes
I think they were meant to glisten with hope and promise of rebirth, but these scary Easter bunny eyes just don't hit. There's something glistening… it's more than mischievous. It's like they're saying "I'm smarter than you and you think I'm an herbivore but I'm going to eat your child.". Or something like that.

Again, the kid? No effs to give.
4. Bunny gone wrong
This scary Easter bunny looks like it was modelled after a chocolate rabbit. It also looks like a large dead bunny that had a face implant. No wonder these poor children look like they want to die. The one on the left though… I appreciate how she's trynna make it work. Hold it together, little Susan. Hold it together.
5. Bunny and chill
At first I was like what?What's so creepy about this Easter bunny? In fact, I actually thought that he looked like a pretty cool bunny. I'd hang out with this bunny. But then I looked at his mouth and screamed a little bit. Thank goodness the child can't see this angle.
P.S. Are his cheeks dirty?
6. Somebody cancel this bunny
The first rule of being an Easter bunny should be that you never grab at the children if they try to run away. Let them go to their parents. Let them run across a busy street. Do whatever you have to do… but it needs to be in the training manual: Do not grab any children by the legs to prevent them from getting the HECK away from you.
7. Evil Wabbit
Whoever designed this scary easter bunny rimmed the eyes with too much eyeliner and slanted them just a titchtoo much. The sinister bunny vibe is strong with this one. Little Janice there doesn't seem to mind though.
"The plan is working"thinks Evil Wabbit as the child squirms on his lap.
8. Stun-bunny
Who thinks of these designs?! Black eyes with weird white little pupils and a head that looks like a block of wood? Even the eyebrows are creepy and weird. At least he looks kind of innocent, though. Dumb, scary easter bunny.
However, I (for real) just realized that "hair lip" is actually "harelip" and is legit named after this bunny.
9. Crooked little mouth
This kid and his cool jacket are my mood for the day today. No joke. Even though he's sitting in the lap of a sinister and dark looking pink bunny, he's still doing great. I strive for this kind of equanimity.
10. Red Eyes?
Ok, here's a great idea: Let's create a large animal with awful fake fur and in order to make him more loveable to the children… let's give him red eyes!
Great idea, Jim. Let's add strange, old geezer eyebrows too. That should do it.
