Rain: It's All Virtually Perspective
Rain can be nourishing, soothing, and its soft sounds brand for terrific sleeping. Only for some people, pelting represents sadness and is a metaphor for life'southward hardships. If you're 1 of those rain complainers, perhaps y'all need a lilliputian bit of perspective.
Whereas on World we have rain made of water—okay, sometimes dingy polluted water—other planets accept far more bizarre atmospheric condition. Venus' rain bathes the planet in showers of sulfuric acid, a highly corrosive mineral acid. (Who's complaining now?) And on the largest moon of Saturn, chosen Titan, there are rain showers of methane, which is highly flammable and explosive.
Scientists believe that on Saturn and Neptune large hailstones of methane fall and are eventually converted into diamonds. These diamond rainstorms may seem luxurious, only imagine getting pelted by a large diamond raindrops. Ouch.
Still complaining about pelting on Earth? On HD 189733b, a planet that is 63 light years from our ain solar arrangement, it rains drinking glass sideways at a mind bending speed of about 4,500 miles per hour.
And then adjacent time it rains too much hither on World, but remember it's all about perspective. You lot could accept it way worse.
Now that you appreciate the rain more than, why not create a custom playlist of songs on the topic? Gloat the symbolism of rain and all the emotions that it evokes, from sadness to triumph. Nosotros've got a long list of pop, stone and land songs to cull from.

I also didn't see the song Rainy 24-hour interval Women #12 & 35 by Bob Dylan on the list. It was on the soundtrack to the movie Forrest Gump. Supposedly, the "official" explanation of how this vocal got its proper noun: A adult female and her daughter came into the recording studio out of the rain. Dylan guessed their ages correctly equally 12 and 35.

Skai Walker on Oct 10, 2018:
howdy. I have been looking for a song that a DJ used to play for me in a club in the late xc's. It was a female R&B vocalist, (I always searched Mary J Blige simply now don't think it's her) The vocal was about "in the rain..." and had a tempest playing in the background of this ballad. The vinyl was a 12" with an all white jacket. It was a limited edition, DJ version, special release or something like that. I never heard information technology or saw information technology once more outside of that club. If you accept any info, please help, cheers.

Information technology just happens to be raining at this moment (and has been for the better part of the day & night.) There'south much about the rain that brings me comfort & solace. I'm not even bothered by being caught in the rain, for a while, anyway. When inside, I enjoy peering out the window, watching as the environs has a rejuvenating shower. When the rain finally stops, all is moist & bright and the air smells so clean.
Astonishing songs have been written and performed about the rain....and soooo many! Going over the list, I couldn't find a single song that I don't similar!
I love the style you are able to dig up all the "places" that apply to the song topic of your manufactures! Y'all take quite the popular series going here, F.A. and I for i, actually love it. P

Hi FlourishAnyway,
I could not resist relocating this article and leaving a comment after reading it once more.
I was listening to some of the best songs of hard rock music band 'Whitesnake' and just remembered the all-time rain song that I liked from their album in the 1980s - Crying in the Pelting. The wailing of David Coverdale (formerly of Deep Purple) of his dejection based difficult rock band had made this song very popular in the adept former days and when I play it even today, it transport me into an emotional land of mind.
